Yes I do - helping a new student who is a total beginner is particularly enjoyable for me. Seeing them grow to love singing and reach goals they never thought they could is such a joy as a teacher.

I have taught children for many years and here at Singing Lessons Rotherham we teach children from about 7 years of age. As with all students, we encourage children to come for a lesson (usually a 30-minute slot) to develop their voice and confidence whilst having lots of fun singing their favourite songs. I also hold an enhanced DBS.

Sorry, we don't have a waiting area, please arrive at your allotted lesson time so there's a smooth transition of students.

Yes, I would encourage parents to come to their children's singing lessons, and go on the journey together. We have a sofa in our lesson studio and are happy to supply you with a cup of tea/coffee and biscuits.

Here at Singing Lessons Rotherham we feel it's important that you discover your unique singing voice whilst singing the songs you love. I will also introduce you to other songs and music styles, that will further develop your voice in line with your goals. I teach most styles but specialize in Pop, Soul, Musical Theatre and Jazz.

Not at all. You can use either sheet music or lyric sheets, whatever you feel most comfortable with. If you are interested in learning how to read music, I am more than happy to teach you.

Yes I do. We have different styles of voucher for children and adults which can be posted directly to the recipient or the purchaser.

This is very understandable, especially if you've never sung in front of someone before. But don't worry, my lessons are very relaxed, informal, and fun, and you'll soon feel at ease and your initial nerves will be a distant memory.

Yes, I can help prepare students for LCM (London College of Music) singing exams. However, there is no pressure to do singing exams, or performing etc.. Many people come for lessons just for the pure joy of singing, and to learn how to sing.

That's not a problem if you cancel 48 hours before your booked lesson slot, we're happy to rearrange it. We have a cancellation policy whereby if you cancel within 48 hours, the full lesson fee will be required.
