Lessons are tailored to each individual and their goals. Many people come to me for lessons just for the pure enjoyment of singing, to take some time out of their busy schedule to de-stress and have fun. But I have also helped students prepare for vocal exams, musical theatre auditions, session singing, TV appearances, GCSE performances, wedding service solo's, open mic sessions, to name but a few.
I work with singing students to help develop their musical ear, improve pitch, range, breathing/vocal techniques, power and projection, performance skills, musical style, improvisation and build confidence. I specialize in musical theatre, pop and soul but also cover most musical styles and genres.
I am an experienced vocal coach and singer, having performed in a variety of settings such as being part of a Jazz trio, Gospel choir member, wedding bands, church worship groups and sang with a 10 piece Blues band. I received training from a well-known vocal coach based in London who has years of experience training west end performers. I also studied performance technique at London’s Vocaltech music school.

I have taught music and singing in several schools throughout South Yorkshire, worked as a singing teacher for the Music Service/The Hub, and the renowned Sheffield Music Academy. I have also formed and led many choirs for different organisations such as MIND and Sheffield Hallam University, and I'm a resident vocal coach for a large choir in Sheffield.
I teach private singing lessons in Rotherham in a dedicated lesson studio. (near Meadowhall Shopping Centre) I have an enhanced DBS certificate, and I’m a member of ISM (Incorporated Society of Musicians).
